Destination Ohio

What an appropriate venue to read our Destination Ohio stories and poetry. Several Y-City Writers gathered on the Main Stage at the 2011 Y Bridge Arts Festival. Kim Stickrath did a fine job of introducing our group to the masses.

Deadline: August 31. Poetry, Fiction, 1250 word limit. Mail entries to ycitywritersforum@gmail.com. Free to conference attendees, $5.00 for all others. Limit 3 entries.

Cash prizes to 1st place winners. Cerificate, ribbons and free copy of anthology to all other winners.

October 13- Pre-nano meet-up at 6:30 followed by the Open Mic (7:30pm) at Sojourner’s Baked Subs.
October 11- Write-in at 11:30 a.m. at Sojourner's Baked Subs.
October 18-Write-in at 11:30 a.m. at Sojourner's Baked Subs.
Y-City Writers Meeting 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM at Central Presbyterian, 40 N. 6th Street.
October 20 - Reading at The Carr Center at 10:00 AM on Beverly Drive.
October 25- Write-in at 11:30 a.m. at Sojourner's Baked Subs.
October 27 - Open Mic at Weaselboy Brewing Company on Muskingum Ave. in the gallery. 7 PM-?
October 31- Nanowrimo kick-off party -11 PM – ? Steak & Shake off of Underwood.
November 1- Write-in at 11 Am at Sojourner’s Baked Subs.
November 1- Y-City Writers Meeting 6:30 PM- 8:00 PM at Central Presbyterian, 40 N. 6th Street.
November 2- Reading at Autumn Healthcare at 1:30-2 PM.
